Opening: Internship - Winter Term 

We are looking for interns to join our team in January 2022 for the winter term. This training program will provide interns interested in exploring a career in Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) with a variety of hands-on skills development opportunities.


Internship Details: 

  • Type: Please note this is an unpaid internship. However, we are happy to work with you to receive course credit and will write high-performers a letter of reference

  • Duration: Commit an average of 10hrs/week on a part-time basis for 12 weeks from January 10th - April 1st, 2022 

  • Location: Fully remote or on-site in Los Angeles, CA 


  • Hands-on skills development in project management, campaign management, financial modeling, due diligence, deal structuring and fundraising

  • Exposure to the buy-side acquisition process and a wide variety of industry business models and companies 

  • Access to a reference library of white papers, industry reports, courses and case studies

  • Regular check-ins with the Managing Partner   


  • Conduct primary and secondary industry research

  • Assist with proprietary deal sourcing, monitoring campaign performance through KPI measurement and refinement

  • Manage our brokered deal process and pipeline, including the review of CIMs and calls with brokers and owners  

  • Hand on deal evaluation and presentation of scorecards and memos to the Managing Partner

  • Assist with due diligence on priority acquisition targets 

  • Maintain, and in some cases, create SOPs (standard operating procedures) 

Skills / Experience: 

  • Self-starter - you bring energy & enthusiasm to scoping, planning and delivering projects 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication 

  • Solid internet research skills

  • Strong quantitative foundation - understanding of fundamental finance and accounting principles 

  • Pursuing a career in banking, finance, management consulting or a related field 

  • Undergraduate students must have completed the equivalent of two full years of course work toward their degree 

  • MBA graduate students will have the option to take on additional management opportunities
